Falcon Farms is a national company with a regional focus.
Founded in 1987, Falcon Farms began as a distribution company supporting Colombian and Ecuadorian flower growers. From the start, the company embraced a vision of innovation and vertical integration to deliver exceptional floral products.
1989: Falcon Farms took its first major step toward integration by opening its first farm in Colombia.
1990s: The company expanded its footprint by establishing its first farm in Ecuador. This strategic move enabled Falcon Farms to oversee the entire process—from production to marketing and distribution—delivering high-quality flowers directly from farms to major retail markets. Additional acquisitions and the development of new farms in both Colombia and Ecuador strengthened this model. Today, Falcon Farms operates 12 farms across South America.
2000s: To better serve its growing customer base, Falcon Farms expanded regionally within the U.S., establishing six strategically located facilities in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Texas, Arizona, and California.
2010s: The focus shifted to enhancing productivity and operational consistency across all farms. Achieving Rainforest Alliance, BASC, and C-TPAT certifications underscored Falcon Farms’ commitment to sustainability and long-term agricultural excellence.
Recent Years: Falcon Farms has evolved into a Total Retail Solutions Provider, implementing vendor-managed retail services that encompass transportation, full-service production, demand planning analytics, product portfolio management, and merchandising services. These capabilities ensure the seamless delivery of export-quality flowers tailored to customer needs while guaranteeing consistency, superior service, and competitive operational costs.
