Isabelita y La Virginia recibio el grupo directivo de Walmart.

El pasado 10 de agosto recibimos una visita sin precedentes en la Industria Floral Colombiana. El equipo directivo de nuestro cliente Walmart, visitó una de nuestras fincas en La Ceja, en la región conocida como “Oriente Antioqueño”.

Esta visita nos llenó de honor y todos disfrutamos de su grata presencia. Esperamos que este distinguido grupo haya quedado con una impresión muy positiva tanto de nuestra empresa como de la industria floral colombiana en general. A traves de estos 30 años de relación comercial con Walmart, Falcon Farms se ha convertido en una mejor empresa cada día y hemos transformado juntos muchas vidas.

An Unmatched Experience for the Colombian Floral Industry

Isabelita and La Virginia were visited by Walmart’s executive team.

On August 10th, we received an unprecedented visit in the Colombian Floral Industry. The executive team from our customer Walmart paid an exclusive visit to our farm in La Ceja, Antioquia.

This visit filled us with pride and having them witness who we are and what we do was a truly remarkable honor. Our desire is that their impression of both our company and the Colombian floral industry remains exceedingly positive and insightful.

Over the course of the last three decades of partnership with Walmart, Falcon Farms has consistently improved as a company, contributing to the positive transformation of numerous lives through our collaborative efforts.

Liliana Arjona – Gerente de La Niña de mis Ojos 

Soy la gerente de la finca La Niña de mis Ojos desde hace siete años y medio. En la finca soy la encargada de que haya un muy buen trabajo en equipo para dar los resultados de productividad y costos que se esperan. Con producción el número de flores para cumplir presupuesto, de buena calidad y con oportunidad. Que poscosecha se haga el mejor uso de esa flor, se elaboren ramos consistentes, se filtren problemas y que el cliente siempre reciba lo mejor. Con Gestión Humana, un trabajo espectacular con las personas que trabajan tan duro para cumplir nuestras metas. Tener personas felices y enamoradas de este trabajo que produce tanta satisfacción.

Lo que más me gusta es el contacto directo con nuestros trabajadores, conocer a fondo sus necesidades, apoyarlos y ayudarles a conseguir sus sueños que por lo general son su vivienda o el estudio de sus hijos. A nuestros trabajadores les debemos nuestros resultados y verlos felices es la mejor recompensa que podemos tener como directivos.

Mi sueño es disfrutar lo que he construido durante tantos años. Disfrutar de la compañía de mis hijos, verlos crecer como personas, disfrutar a mis papás cada día, acompañarlos, consentirlos. Disfrutar a mi familia a plenitud.

Liliana Arjona – Manager of “La Niña de mis Ojos”

“I have been the manager of “La Niña de mis Ojos” farm for seven and a half years. At the farm, I am responsible for ensuring excellent teamwork to achieve the expected productivity and cost results. This includes producing the required number of flowers to meet the budget, ensuring they are of good quality and delivered on time. In the post-harvest phase, I focus on making the best use of the flowers, creating consistent bouquets, addressing issues, and ensuring the customer always receives the best.

In terms of Human Resources management, I have a fantastic relationship with the people who work tirelessly to meet our goals. Having happy and devoted individuals in this work that brings so much satisfaction is crucial.

What I enjoy the most is the direct interaction with our workers. I deeply understand their needs, provide support, and help them achieve their dreams, which usually involve housing or their children’s education. Our workers are the reason for our achievements, and witnessing their happiness is the most rewarding aspect of our role as managers.”
